Sales Representative – Process Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Representative focused on process equipment, plants and systems to drive business growth in Ethiopia. The role involves identifying new opportunities, supporting customers throughout the sales cycle, and ensuring successful implementation of solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Penetrate and develop new accounts for process equipment and systems.
• Identify client process inefficiencies and propose improvements.
• Prepare and specify quotes that match customer needs.
• Maintain existing client accounts while acquiring new key accounts.
• Conduct sales calls, presentations and key‑account seminars.
• Qualify, document and follow up on leads, managing mailing lists and contact programs.
• Provide testing assistance, start‑up support and training at customer facilities.
• Manage regional representatives and report sales activity to the Director of Sales.
• Document applications, coordinate in‑house trials and support field demonstrations.
• Organise and manage regional trade shows and participate in industry events.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling process equipment, plants or industrial systems.
• Ability to develop new accounts and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for customer seminars and trade shows.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and provide on‑site support.
• Capability to coordinate with internal teams, manage leads and report sales performance.
