About the role

Join Bingham Academy as a Spanish Teacher and help shape a generation of students with a Christ‑centered education. You will deliver the Cambridge Spanish curriculum, integrate Christian values, and support the holistic growth of learners in Addis Ababa.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver student‑centered Spanish lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Prepare schemes of work, resources and assessments that track academic progress and character development.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse language backgrounds and readiness levels.
• Provide constructive feedback, maintain accurate records, and manage a safe, inclusive classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues, communicate with parents, and participate in school activities such as chapel and professional development.

Required profile

• Ministry‑mindset with a Christ‑like character.
• One year of teaching experience and a teaching certification/license.
• Resilience, emotional maturity and cultural sensitivity for living in Ethiopia.
• Willingness to learn and apply the Cambridge curriculum.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Spanish (speaking, listening, reading, writing).
• Knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE/A‑Level Spanish (desired).
• Ability to design schemes of work and assessments.
