The Branch Manager I will lead the Bahir Dar branch of Berhan Insurance, overseeing daily operations, driving business growth, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This senior position requires a strong background in insurance operations and proven leadership abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of branch performance, including sales targets, customer service, and financial results.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures aligned with corporate standards.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate branch staff to foster a high‑performing team.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal audit standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of relevant operational experience in the insurance sector.
• At least 3 years in a senior‑level managerial role.
• BA, BSc, MA, MSc or MBA in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Management or a related field.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities.
