About the role
Wegagen Bank, a leading private commercial bank in Ethiopia, is seeking a Branch Manager‑IV to lead one of its branches. The role involves overseeing daily banking operations, ensuring compliance with the bank’s policies and regulatory requirements, and delivering high‑quality service to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise all branch activities, including transactions, customer service, and staff performance.
- Ensure that all operations adhere to the bank’s policies, procedures, guidelines, and relevant regulations.
- Monitor and report on branch performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and promote the bank’s products and services.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in a Business Manager‑III role or a comparable position within banking or financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team and drive operational excellence.
