Liaison Assistant

About the role

The Liaison Assistant will support the Leaders in Teaching programme in Ethiopia by providing essential HR, procurement, and administrative services. Working from the Addis Ababa office, the role ensures smooth coordination between Education Development Trust, suppliers, service providers, and government offices.

Key responsibilities

• Handle routine HR coordination, including record keeping and staff onboarding.
• Manage procurement processes, from supplier liaison to purchase order administration.
• Maintain accurate administrative records and support office logistics.
• Act as a primary point of contact between EDT, external partners, and relevant government entities.
• Ensure compliance with EDT policies and local regulations in all HR and procurement activities.

Required profile

• Significant experience in an administrative, HR, or procurement role, preferably within an NGO or development setting.
• Strong customer‑focus and ability to manage logistics and reports.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
