Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator will support the hotel’s Commercial team by driving brand presence, public relations, and promotional activities. This creative, detail‑oriented professional will manage social media, produce content, and help coordinate on‑property events to boost revenue and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Manage official social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and create engaging copy, visuals, and video content.
• Support planning and execution of marketing campaigns across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Corporate Events, and Spa/Leisure.
• Coordinate production of marketing collateral such as menus, brochures, digital signage, and flyers.
• Assist in organizing promotional events, media visits, and community relations activities; maintain an updated media database.
• Ensure the hotel’s website, third‑party platforms, and digital listings are accurate, up‑to‑date, and optimized.
• Monitor on‑property collateral and digital outputs for strict brand compliance.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, public relations or advertising; hospitality or luxury retail experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic.
• Creative mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media management tools.
• Basic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Photography and videography capabilities for content creation.
