ADP Manager – Program Implementation & Financial Accountability

About the role

The ADP Manager will lead the design, implementation and financial oversight of child‑focused development programmes across multiple funding streams. This role ensures that all activities comply with IPF/FRS standards, child‑protection SOPs and Ethiopian government requirements while empowering communities and staff to deliver sustainable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee that all ADP projects follow IPF/FRS standards, SOPs and child‑protection guidelines from design through annual operation planning.
• Develop detailed Implementation Plans (DIP) and produce monthly, quarterly, bi‑annual and annual reports together with budget updates.
• Monitor financial performance to keep spending within 95‑100% of the approved budget and respond to audit and evaluation recommendations.
• Coordinate the use of programme systems such as iMPAQ, FRS, Hope and Sun6 to ensure data quality and programme effectiveness.
• Build capacity of community, frontline and sponsorship staff on SOPs and child‑protection practices.
• Maintain key performance indicators at green status for at least 11 months per year.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing development programmes in line with international standards and local regulations.
• Strong understanding of child‑protection policies and ability to integrate them into programme design.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed implementation plans, financial reports and respond to audit findings.
• Experience working with multiple funding streams and ensuring financial accountability.
