Advisor to the CEO – Strategic Management

About the role

The Advisor to the CEO provides independent, evidence‑based strategic and management advice to support executive decision‑making at Wegagen Bank. This senior position works closely with the CEO to analyse critical business, financial, operational and external‑environment issues.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse critical business, financial, organisational, customer, operational and external‑environment issues.
• Assess strategic options, evaluate implications and conduct targeted reviews.
• Prepare concise recommendations and decision‑support materials for the CEO and Board.
• Support effective strategy execution and resolution of complex matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in senior management, strategic advisory or business leadership within banking or financial services.
• Demonstrated experience in executive‑level analysis, strategic planning, business performance monitoring, organisational issue resolution and preparation of senior‑management/Board‑level decision materials.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, Strategy, Banking or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA/CPA, CIMA, FRM, PMP or equivalent are an advantage.
