Branch Business Relationship Officer – North Addis Ababa

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Officer will drive business growth for Retail, MSME and International Financial Business (IFB) banking at the North Addis Ababa branch. You will manage relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying cross‑sell opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve branch targets for Retail, MSME and IFB banking through proactive relationship management.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers to retain business and increase wallet share.
• Identify and acquire new customers, presenting appropriate banking products and services.
• Cross‑sell complementary products, contributing to overall branch profitability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of banking operations and resolve client issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Management or a related field.
• Formal training or courses in banking operations (IFB, domestic, credit, international).
• Minimum four (4) years of successful experience in a banking or customer‑contact role.

Required skills

• Banking operations expertise covering IFB, domestic, credit and international transactions.
• Strong product and price knowledge of banking services.
• Marketing and sales abilities to promote banking products effectively.
