Cost Accountant – Healthcare Finance

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team and support pricing, budgeting, and operational decision‑making. The role provides accurate cost allocation, profitability analysis, and actionable financial insights across a range of healthcare services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cost allocation methodologies for departments, units, and services.
• Prepare accurate service‑level cost reports for inpatient, outpatient, surgery, and pharmacy areas.
• Support tariff setting, margin analysis, budgeting, and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to validate resource usage and improve costing accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting, management accounting or financial analysis.
• Prior experience in hospital or healthcare costing is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical ability and high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
