Chief Technology Officer

About the role

The Chief Technology Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership for Edge Comm‑Tech’s engineering and technology divisions, overseeing the full solution lifecycle from presales to post‑implementation support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy aligned with business objectives and growth priorities.
• Lead all technical presales activities, solution architecture, and proposal development.
• Provide technical oversight for engineering operations, project implementation, testing, commissioning and customer acceptance.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams across networking, cybersecurity, cloud, datacenter, power and software domains.
• Establish technical standards, policies, and partnerships with OEMs and technology vendors.

Required profile

• Extensive executive‑level experience in a systems integrator, technology solutions provider or similar ICT infrastructure organization.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliver complex, mission‑critical projects.
• Strong business awareness and capability to align technology solutions with commercial goals.

Required skills

• Enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, WLAN, SDN) and network security (firewalls, endpoint protection).
• Cybersecurity solutions and unified communications technologies.
• Server, storage, backup, virtualization and hyper‑converged infrastructure.
• Private/hybrid cloud, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Datacenter design, structured cabling, fiber optics, precision cooling and environmental monitoring.
• Power technologies including UPS, diesel generators and electrical distribution.
• Software, AI, automation and emerging digital solutions.
