About the role

The Child Protection Officer will provide technical, operational and administrative assistance for child protection programmes across Ethiopia, from planning through to delivery of results.

Key responsibilities

Support the development, implementation and monitoring of child protection projects within the Country Programme.
Facilitate partnerships and coordinate with UN agencies, NGOs and government bodies to ensure effective programme delivery.
Conduct monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities to track progress and impact.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in International Law, Psychology, Social Work, Human Rights, International Development or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in child protection planning and management.
Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language or a local language is an asset.
