Excellence Manager (Performance, Productivity & Sustainability)

About the role

The Excellence Manager is a key member of the site leadership team, responsible for designing, deploying and sustaining the Manufacturing Excellence & Sustainability agenda. This role drives a culture of continuous improvement and high performance, focusing on operational KPIs and aggressive environmental targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the performance agenda, developing and executing the manufacturing performance and productivity system to meet Annual Operating Plan targets.
• Champion continuous improvement deployment of SPARK (IWS/TPM) tools, Kaizen events, value‑stream mapping and rapid problem solving.
• Lead the site’s sustainability initiatives, managing water, energy (GHG Scope 1&2) and waste reduction programs and tracking progress against corporate PEP+ goals.
• Build frontline capability through coaching, training and talent development programs, embedding Lean thinking across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FMCG manufacturing operations or continuous‑improvement roles within a complex, multi‑line factory.
• Demonstrated success in Lean/IWS/TPM/SPARK implementation and delivering measurable productivity, cost or sustainability improvements.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in the local language is an advantage.

Required skills

• Lean implementation tools (IWS, TPM, SPARK).
• Manufacturing KPI analysis (OEE, yields, material losses).
• Data visualization with Power BI.
• Lean Six Sigma methodology.
