FLS Technician

About the role

The Fire‑Life‑Safety (FLS) Technician ensures that all fire protection and emergency lighting systems operate reliably and comply with safety regulations. You will work on a variety of commercial and hospitality properties, performing inspections, maintenance, and rapid response during emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on fire alarms, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hydrants, and emergency lighting.
• Diagnose and repair faults in FLS control panels and suppression equipment promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and maintenance logs for audits and civil‑defense authorities.
• Act as a technical responder during fire drills, system activations, and emergency evacuations.
• Supervise third‑party vendors during annual certifications and system upgrades.

Required profile

• Diploma or certified training in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or a fire‑safety discipline.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience managing fire‑life‑safety systems, preferably in large commercial or 5‑star hotel environments.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving under pressure, and strict adherence to safety regulations.
