Senior Accountant – Global Finance Operations

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to lead global finance operations, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards across multiple entities and currencies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end finance operations for multiple global entities.
• Oversee preparation and consolidation of local and international financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage multi‑currency accounting, including foreign‑exchange translation and revaluation.
• Drive month‑end and year‑end close processes across entities.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure timely reconciliation.
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to maintain compliance and transparency.
• Continuously improve and standardize financial processes and controls across all geographies.
• Mentor and lead a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• 10+ years progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or managerial capacity.
• Proven track record managing the full suite of finance team capabilities – AP/AR, general ledger, reporting, tax, and audit.
• Hands‑on experience with global financial operations and intercompany accounting.
• Strong understanding of multi‑currency accounting and consolidation in a multinational environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Experience applying IFRS and other international accounting standards.
