Senior Human Resource Development Officer

About the role

Nib Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Human Resource Development Officer to lead the design, delivery and evaluation of training programmes and development initiatives for its workforce in Addis Ababa.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments and develop tailored learning solutions.
• Design, update and deliver curricula, workshops and e‑learning modules.
• Coordinate and monitor the implementation of development programmes across departments.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments and performance metrics.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to staff and support succession planning.

Required profile

• BA degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Public Administration or a related field.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience, including at least four years in a Training Officer II or HR Officer II role.
• Current Job Grade IX as defined by the organization.
