Accounts Receivable Accountant – OTC

About the role

The Accounts Receivable Accountant (OTC) will manage the end‑to‑end processing, tracking and collection of direct billing and city ledger accounts for Hilton. Working closely with the Finance Manager, Front Office and Sales teams, you will help maintain healthy cash flow and ensure compliance with Hilton’s global financial standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process, verify and post daily AR entries, city ledger transfers and credit‑card transactions according to Hilton policies.
• Review guest and corporate accounts, prepare customer statements and issue tax invoices to corporate clients and travel agents.
• Monitor aging accounts, conduct collection follow‑ups and coordinate with the Credit Manager on outstanding balances.
• Perform regular reconciliations between the Property Management System, AR sub‑ledger and General Ledger.
• Investigate and resolve billing queries, discrepancies and refund requests promptly.
• Prepare weekly and monthly AR aging reports, cash‑flow forecasts and credit‑risk evaluations for management.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, local tax regulations and Hilton Brand Standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• 2–3 years of AR or general accounting experience within an international hotel chain.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hospitality financial software such as SunSystems, Opera PMS and OnQ.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
