Associate Director, Marketing Strategy

About the role

The Associate Director, Marketing Strategy will support the Director in shaping and executing Drexel University’s marketing vision. Working primarily on‑campus in a hybrid setting, this role blends independent initiative with cross‑functional collaboration across the university’s marketing and communications ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal media teams and external agencies to implement media plans, track placements, and evaluate performance.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day liaison for colleges, schools, and administrative units, providing marketing and communications support.
• Coordinate the creation and deployment of website content, advertising campaigns, event collateral, and other communication assets.
• Collaborate with creative teams to develop messaging and visual strategies for assigned portfolios.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on media performance metrics for senior leadership review.
• Lead informational meetings with academic and administrative stakeholders and follow up on action items.
• Conduct market research on competing programs and identify new program opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of multi‑channel marketing and brand strategy.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience translating research and best practices into actionable marketing plans for both external and internal audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
