Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB (South Addis Ababa)

About the role

The Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB will lead business development for the branch in South Addis Ababa, focusing on interest‑free banking products, deposit and investment growth, and cross‑selling other bank services.

Key responsibilities

• Attract, deepen and manage financial relationships to meet deposit and IFB financing targets.
• Promote and sell the bank’s full range of products and services to existing customers.
• Ensure compliance with credit, risk management and Shari’ah requirements.
• Leverage networking skills to acquire and retain customers.
• Oversee project management activities related to business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with branch team members to achieve regional growth goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, banking, finance or a related field.
• Minimum of six years relevant experience in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Interest Free Banking operations and Shari’ah principles.
• Experience in modern sales and marketing practices within the financial sector.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively, adapt to change and drive results.
