Brewing Area Manager

About the role

The Brewing Area Manager leads the brewing department to achieve production targets while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety and cost efficiency. You will guide a team of brewers, ensure compliance with VPO (Value, Process, Operations) pillars and drive continuous improvement across the value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and maintain beer‑brewing quality excellence throughout the value chain.
• Communicate brewing process standards and any changes to the team.
• Provide technical expertise, lead problem‑solving sessions and verify corrective actions.
• Audit and enforce quality, process and work‑practice standards.
• Manage health, safety and risk for the area teams.
• Control fixed and variable costs, minimize waste and ensure budget adherence.
• Ensure production plans, specifications and maintenance integrity are met.
• Support engineering integrity, process optimisation, CAPEX and VA projects.
• Guarantee compliance with environmental and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in a brewing or similar production environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of brewing processes and quality systems.
• Ability to manage health, safety and risk effectively.
• Experience in cost control, waste reduction and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
