Brewing Control Room Operator

About the role

The Brewing Control Room Operator is responsible for overseeing brewing and associated processes from a centralized control room. Working closely with field operators, the role ensures smooth shift execution, adherence to production plans, and timely resolution of any issues that arise during brewing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and implement the shift production plan.
• Monitor and control brewing processes using VPO‑standard tools and the control room interface.
• Escalate problems to field operators, area managers, or technical staff as needed.
• Manage yeast planning and coordinate raw‑material requirements for each process order.
• Lead shift meetings and share responsibilities with the Process Operator.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and follow VPO problem‑solving procedures.
• Execute VPO implementation plans and ensure shift goals are met.

Required profile

• Experience in brewing or industrial process control environments.
• Ability to interpret production plans and coordinate shift activities.
• Strong understanding of safety and health standards in a production setting.
• Effective communication skills for escalation and team coordination.
