Business Analysis Intern

About the role

A company is looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analysis Intern, open to students or recent graduates. The intern helps turn business needs into practical software solutions by working with product managers, developers and designers to gather requirements, prepare documentation, analyse business processes and help plan solutions. The role exposes interns to Agile methodologies, software development processes and real project environments.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business and functional requirements
• Support communication between stakeholders, developers and designers
• Help prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)
• Take part in meetings, workshops and requirement discussions
• Analyse business processes and suggest improvements
• Help create process flows, diagrams and documentation
• Work with QA teams on test cases and requirements validation
• Maintain project documentation and user stories in Agile tools

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, IT or a related field
• Basic understanding of business processes and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand and document requirements clearly

Required skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum is an advantage
