Web Designer

About the role

HibLink Tech is hiring a full-time, on-site Web Designer for its IT Services team in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The designer creates engaging, user-friendly website designs that meet project requirements, working with developers and other team members to improve the look and function of client websites.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging, user-friendly website designs aligned with project requirements
• Design graphics and develop responsive web interfaces
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to enhance user experiences
• Contribute to improving the overall aesthetic and functionality of client websites

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science or a related field
• Experience in graphic design and creating visual content with graphics tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to develop innovative design solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is an added advantage
• Flexibility for rotational shifts (evenings/weekends) to support U.S. time zones, open to working from 3:00 pm (9:00 LT) until 2:00 am (8:00 LT)

Required skills

• Web design, responsive web design and user-friendly interfaces
• Front-end development knowledge, including modern web technologies
• Figma, Photoshop (for prototyping), React.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript
• Responsive layouts, accessibility and performance optimization
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and design software is a plus
