Chief Field Office (NO-4) – Fixed Term – Ethiopia

About the role

The Chief Field Office (CFO) will lead the total programme commitment of a UNICEF field office in Ethiopia, reporting to the Chief Field Operations. This fixed‑term position is based in Addis Ababa and is responsible for both programme oversight and operational support, including warehouse and inventory management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead the overall programme delivery of the assigned field office.
• Represent UNICEF in the designated Area of Responsibility and coordinate with programme sectors and operational service teams.
• Ensure quality results in line with UNICEF’s country programme plan and the Representative’s vision.
• Provide technical and operational support for warehouse operations, covering storage, inventory control, and distribution of supplies.

Required profile

• Seasoned professional with experience in programme management and field office leadership.
• Ability to work under the guidance of the Chief Field Operations.
• Strong understanding of UNICEF’s operational framework and commitment to child rights.
