Customer Support Specialist – Africa & Middle East

About the role

Boeing Global Services is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to serve as a Customer Program Manager for clients across Africa and the Middle East. Based in Addis Ababa, you will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal Boeing teams, ensuring smooth execution of supply‑chain activities and high‑quality support.

Key responsibilities

• Create and nurture customer relationships, understanding their culture and business strategies.
• Interact with customers and internal partners via face‑to‑face, virtual meetings, phone, and email.
• Maintain account health, provide world‑class support, and advise customers on order status, changes, or improvements.
• Collaborate with customers to identify needs, recommend solutions, and involve internal partners as required.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve delivery problems, and coordinate material, delivery, and return processes.
• Collect, process, and analyze supplier and customer data related to spare‑parts ordering and delivery.
• Monitor and share key performance metrics with customers and internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in the aerospace industry.
• At least 1 year experience in a supply‑chain focused role.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations to executive leadership.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a global organization.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis.
