Ticketing & Visa Officer

About the role

SARIA Consultancy PLC is recruiting a qualified and experienced Ticketing & Visa Officer on behalf of its client. The role covers domestic and international flight reservations, ticket issuance, visa application support and corporate travel arrangements, with a focus on customer service and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Handle domestic and international flight reservations, fare quotations, ticket issuance, reissuance, cancellations and refunds using GDS platforms.
• Provide visa application assistance for multiple destinations, including document verification, online applications and embassy procedures.
• Advise customers on airline fare rules, travel requirements, visa documentation and regulations.
• Develop relationships with corporate clients, NGOs, institutions and travel partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and promote ticketing and travel services.
• Maintain accurate booking records, customer information and regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Tourism, Travel Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in airline ticketing, reservations and visa services.
• Practical experience in ticket issuance, fare calculations, reissuance and refunds.
• Experience handling visa applications for several countries.
• Good understanding of IATA ticketing procedures and international travel requirements.
• Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation and sales skills.
• Corporate sales and business development experience is an added advantage.

Required skills

• GDS certification in Amadeus, Sabre or Travelport (mandatory)
• IATA ticketing procedures
