Finance and Sales Support Officer

About the role

DigitalConstruct.io, a digital marketing agency, is hiring a full-time, on-site Finance and Sales Support Officer in Addis Ababa. The role provides day-to-day support to both the finance and sales functions, coordinating with team members to keep client follow-ups timely and workflows smooth.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices and record transactions
• Assist with budget tracking and help prepare financial reports and summaries for management
• Support the sales team with quotations, proposal documentation and sales reporting
• Maintain accurate client and opportunity records in internal systems
• Coordinate follow-up on client inquiries and support contract and billing alignment
• Help streamline workflows between finance, sales and operations, and keep documentation clear and organized

Required profile

• Strong foundational knowledge of finance and accounting, including basic budgeting, invoicing and transaction recording
• Ability to work on-site in Addis Ababa and adapt to a fast-paced digital marketing environment
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field preferred; prior finance or sales support experience is an advantage

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and office productivity tools such as Excel, Google Sheets and Word
• Ability to learn financial or CRM software
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking and clear written and verbal communication
