Head Nurse – Operating Room

About the role

Redat Medical Plaza is looking for an experienced Head Nurse to lead its Operating Room (OR) nursing team. The role involves overseeing peri‑operative patient care, ensuring safety, and coordinating daily OR activities in a fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the OR nursing staff.
• Ensure safe, efficient peri‑operative patient care in accordance with clinical protocols.
• Coordinate OR schedules, staff assignments, and surgical case flow.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for surgical services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSc).
• Minimum five years of nursing experience, preferably in an Operating Room setting.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of OR procedures and patient‑safety standards.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
