Health & Nutrition Coordinator

About the role

The Health & Nutrition Coordinator will lead and supervise health and nutrition activities across emergency and development programmes, ensuring they are integrated, community‑focused and aligned with World Vision’s strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor health and nutrition interventions such as CMAM/IMAM, IYCF, IMNCI, ANC/PNC and emergency response services.
• Develop procurement, supply and activity plans; coordinate with supply chain, logistics and technical teams to ensure availability of medicines and nutrition commodities.
• Conduct rapid assessments, supervise field visits and provide technical guidance to staff and partners.
• Lead community mobilisation, referral and linkage systems to improve early identification and access to services.
• Prepare concept notes, proposals, budgets and donor reports; ensure accurate monthly and situational reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in NGOs delivering emergency health and nutrition programmes.
• Master’s degree in Public Health, Nutrition or Clinical Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Relevant certifications (IMNCI, IMAM, family MUAC, SPHERE standards, outbreak management).

Required skills

• Technical expertise in CMAM/IMAM, IYCF, IMNCI, ANC/PNC and emergency health interventions.
• Procurement planning, supply chain coordination and logistics management.
• Rapid health and nutrition assessment and data‑driven monitoring.
• Outbreak disease management (cholera, measles, malaria).
• Family MUAC approach implementation and training.
