Lead Full Stack Developer

About the role

TOPPAN Security is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to drive the design, development, and delivery of mission‑critical identity and payment applications. You will remain hands‑on while guiding a multidisciplinary team across backend and frontend technologies within a microservices ecosystem on Kubernetes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of full‑stack engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and hands‑on support.
• Architect, design, and build backend services using C#/.NET and/or Java/Spring Boot, and frontend interfaces with Next.js.
• Own technical decisions for microservices, ensuring consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Design and optimise PostgreSQL data models, queries, and performance across services.
• Drive containerised deployments and orchestration using Kubernetes.
• Set and enforce engineering standards for code quality, testing, Git workflows, and review practices.
• Champion observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki to monitor system health.
• Break down complex requirements into technical designs, support sprint planning, and estimate effort.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with product, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Identify technical risks early, lead troubleshooting of production issues, and drive root‑cause analysis.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and the professional growth of team members.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of professional, hands‑on experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong ability to translate complex requirements into actionable technical designs.
