Packaging Process Operator

About the role

The Packaging Process Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality. You will work on a dynamic production line, handling machine start‑up, shut‑down, and change‑overs while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate packaging machines, including start‑up, shut‑down, and routine running.
• Perform brand pack changes and ensure correct set‑up.
• Carry out autonomous maintenance tasks and regular equipment checks.
• Monitor process performance and report deviations.
• Support training and coaching of operational teams.
• Assist in problem‑solving for process‑specific issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance process capability.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Required profile

• Active team player with vigilance and quick action.
• Strong problem‑solving ability.
• Proven track record in a similar packaging environment (SAB performance record preferred).
• Ability to work shifts and adapt to changing production demands.
