Part-Time Sales Representative

About the role

Tegex Computer is a growing technology retailer and service provider offering hardware, accessories and related services to individual and business customers. It is looking for a part-time Sales Representative for an on-site position in Ethiopia. The role is customer-facing and involves recommending computer products and accessories.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable computer products and accessories
• Demonstrate product features and give clear, accurate information
• Process sales transactions
• Handle basic inventory checks such as restocking shelves and updating stock counts
• Support customer service, answer inquiries and help resolve issues
• Assist with store displays, promotional activities and keeping the sales area clean and organised

Required profile

• Strong customer-focused mindset, with skills in customer satisfaction and customer service
• Sales ability, including experience or interest in sales and basic inventory control
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and accessories, or willingness to learn quickly
• Ability to work on-site in Ethiopia and collaborate in a team
• Organised and detail-oriented when handling products, pricing and documentation
• Prior retail or technology sales experience is an advantage but not required
