Principal ESG Analyst

About the role

Dashen Bank is looking for a Principal ESG Analyst to ensure the Bank's compliance with environmental and social regulations, policies and best practices. The role also covers assessing and managing the environmental and social risks linked to the Bank's operations and investments, and working with internal departments and external stakeholders to promote sustainable and responsible business practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably environmental engineering, environmental or social studies, development studies or development finance; a Master's degree in such fields is an added advantage.
• At least six years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Data analysis, interpretation and reporting on environmental, social and governance aspects.
• Applied knowledge of ESG principles and frameworks.
• Performance monitoring and evaluation of the social, environmental and economic effects of Bank activities.
• ESG risk assessment: identifying, evaluating and managing ESG factors that could affect investment performance, reputation or long-term sustainability.
• Strong collaboration, communication, adaptability, customer centricity, data-driven decision-making and professionalism.
