Project Coordinator – Field Support Services (Ethiopia)

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Field Support Services programme that assists Canada’s international assistance programming across Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan and the Pan‑African region. Based in Addis Ababa, the role works closely with the Project Manager and technical specialists to ensure effective planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in developing, planning and prioritising deliverables and DFATD task requests.
• Coordinate and track DFATD task requests, ensuring quality implementation and timely reporting from technical specialists.
• Identify emerging issues, recommend adjustments to the Project Manager and designated stakeholders.
• Contribute to the preparation of high‑quality reports and project deliverables.
• Support the identification and sourcing of technical resources as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination, preferably within international development or consultancy.
• Based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multi‑country teams.
• Familiarity with DFATD guidelines and reporting requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
