Sales Promoter

About the role

Enza Zaden is seeking an energetic Sales Promoter to join its Ethiopian sales team. You will work directly with farmers, agro‑dealers and local communities to create demand for high‑quality vegetable seeds and support grassroots marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Enza Zaden seed products in villages, markets, agro‑dealer shops and community events.
• Conduct basic farmer engagement activities and support demonstration plots.
• Distribute promotional materials and ensure product visibility in assigned sales areas.
• Capture simple market observations and submit weekly activity reports.
• Assist Sales Representatives with farmer follow‑up, grassroots activation and local promotional events.

Required profile

• Completed secondary school; agricultural or sales‑related diploma is a plus.
• Comfortable working in rural communities and engaging directly with farmers.
• Good communication skills in local languages; English is an advantage.
• Ability to ride a motorbike with a valid licence where required.
• High energy, reliable, self‑motivated and able to follow structured work plans.
• Willingness to travel daily within rural sales areas and support weekend or community events during peak seasons.
