Sales Specialist

About the role

Droongo System Solutions builds technology that simplifies how businesses operate and grow, offering an ecosystem of tools for finance, sales, inventory, manufacturing and operations. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Sales Specialist in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to manage the sales cycle from first contact to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads, and present tailored solutions to prospective and existing clients.
• Conduct product demonstrations and manage the full sales cycle.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and follow up to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with product and implementation teams to align solutions with customer needs, give market feedback and support customer training on the platform.
• Prepare proposals, take part in sales meetings, contribute to sales forecasts and represent Droongo at events and client visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven sales and sales management ability to drive new business, manage pipelines and meet or exceed targets.
• Experience in training, including product presentations and guiding customers through onboarding and usage.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in local languages spoken in Addis Ababa is an asset.

Required skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• CRM systems and basic office software.
• Solid understanding of B2B technology or ERP solutions is highly beneficial.
