Sales Specialist - Part-Time Remote

About the role

Mella Software Solutions designs and builds custom software, ERP platforms, management systems and digital products that help organizations manage operations and automate processes. It is hiring a part-time, remote Sales Specialist to identify, nurture and close opportunities for its software and business system solutions. The role covers outbound and inbound sales, from prospecting and lead qualification to presenting tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the sales pipeline, prepare proposals and present tailored solutions to prospective clients across various industries
• Coordinate product demonstrations with technical team members and maintain accurate records in CRM tools
• Work with customer service and delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs, support client onboarding and gather feedback to refine messaging
• Contribute to training materials, take part in sales strategy discussions and represent Mella in remote meetings, calls and virtual events

Required profile

• Demonstrated sales experience in software, technology or business solutions, including qualifying leads, negotiating and closing deals
• Experience or aptitude in training and sales management, such as guiding prospects through the sales process and supporting internal sales enablement
• Strong communication skills, including clear presentation, active listening and professional written and verbal interaction with diverse stakeholders
• Comfort working remotely, with strong time management, self-organization and proficiency in CRM systems and online collaboration tools
• Understanding of B2B technology or software solutions; experience with ERP, business management systems or process automation is an advantage
• Ability to analyze client needs, translate technical capabilities into business value and communicate tailored solution benefits
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in Sales, Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred
