Salesperson - Real Estate

About the role

AYAT Real Estate, part of Ayat Share Company, is a real estate development organization based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, focused on residential property development and sales. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Salesperson to engage prospective buyers, present available properties and help them make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with prospective buyers and present available properties
• Provide accurate information on pricing, features and payment options
• Conduct property tours and follow up with leads
• Manage client communications and maintain detailed records of inquiries and sales activities
• Collaborate with the sales team, support marketing campaigns and ensure a positive customer experience
• Meet sales targets while representing the company professionally and ethically

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in sales, business or marketing is an advantage
• Experience in real estate sales is an advantage
• Ability to work on-site, manage time efficiently and handle several client inquiries and appointments
• Comfortable using phones, email and basic digital tools for lead management and follow-up
• Integrity, professionalism and commitment to respectful, non-discriminatory service

Required skills

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to close deals
• Customer service and relationship-building skills, including active listening
• Basic knowledge of real estate concepts, property valuation and local housing market trends
• Effective spoken and written English; proficiency in local languages is beneficial
