Senior Accountant

About the role

TOPPAN Security is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Finance team. Working closely with the CFO and cross‑functional leaders, you will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and compliance while providing insight for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, reconciliations and cash‑flow reports.
• Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and maintain the accuracy of financial records.
• Analyse financial performance, investigate variances and deliver recommendations to management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, identifying cost‑control opportunities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare and support tax filings in collaboration with external advisors.
• Provide financial analysis to support business and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross‑functional teams on financial matters.
• Mentor junior accounting team members and drive continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including senior accounting or financial management roles.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and general ledger management.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, tax, audit and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing AP/AR, reconciliations, cash‑flow and financial records.
• Proven experience supporting audits and working with senior management and external stakeholders.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring finance/accounting team members.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
