Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

A fast-growing beer and beverage company is looking for a Senior Auditor for its Internal Audit and Compliance department in Addis Ababa, reporting to the Internal Audit and Compliance Manager. The position involves planning and performing internal audits, reviewing processes and transactions, and supporting investigations, with periodic travel to the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and perform internal audits, review business processes and transactions, and evaluate compliance with company policies and procedures
• Follow up on audit findings and management action plans
• Support investigations when required
• Contribute to strengthening the internal control environment and promote a culture of compliance and accountability

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, Auditing, Business Administration, Business Management or a related field
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in internal and/or external audit
• Experience in beverage and/or FMCG and manufacturing industries
• Professional certification such as ACCA or equivalent; IFRS certification is an added advantage
