About the role

The Social Policy Intern will support UNICEF Ethiopia’s Social Policy Section in evidence generation and data analysis for cash transfer programmes over a five‑month period.

Key responsibilities

Generate and organise quantitative and qualitative evidence for cash transfer programmes.
Assist with desk‑based reviews of assessments, post‑distribution monitoring reports and programme documents.
Summarise findings on vulnerability, inclusion and programme performance to inform internal analysis and planning.
Contribute to donor, annual and programme reports related to social protection and equity.
Document lessons learned, best practices and emerging evidence from ongoing pilots.
Support the drafting of analytical outputs on cash transfer interventions.

Required profile

Non‑Ethiopian national eligible for an international internship.
Interest in social policy, cash transfer and social protection programmes.
