About the role

Yango Group is seeking a Support Specialist to join its Ethiopia team. In this position you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience across multiple communication channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective support to customers via email, phone, and chat.
  • Manage complex cases professionally and within agreed timelines.
  • Update customer records and maintain accurate logs of support interactions.
  • Collaborate with teammates to uphold high standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Amharic and English.
  • Own a personal laptop or PC with a stable internet connection and reliable power supply, including backup sources.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support colleagues.
  • Willingness to learn, develop professional skills, and adapt to night‑shift schedules (4 days on, 3 days off).
