Territory Sales Representative

About the role

Reporting to the Upcountry Sales Manager, you will drive sales growth and increase market share within the assigned territory. The role involves identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and market share targets.
• Prospect for and acquire new customers by pursuing leads.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers, providing tailored solutions.
• Present and demonstrate company products and services effectively.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals beneficial to the organization.
• Provide timely customer service, resolve inquiries and issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
• Analyze sales data, market trends and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive sales reports.
• Follow up on payment collection and manage overdue accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related field.
• Fluent in Amharic and English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable problem‑solver with a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented and organized.
• High integrity and ethical decision‑making in sales.

Required skills

• Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting and performance tracking.
• Strong understanding of the Dessie area market dynamics.
• Expertise in sales techniques, negotiation and account management.
• Familiarity with market research, competitive analysis and trend identification.
• Proficient in using sales automation and CRM tools.
