About the role

The Cash Service Attendant is responsible for handling cash transactions at branch locations within the Hawassa district. The role ensures cash is received, verified, and transferred securely and on time. The position supports risk management by maintaining accurate cash records and adhering to the bank’s internal controls. Strong attention to detail and professionalism are essential to uphold Dashen Bank’s values.

Key responsibilities

Receive cash from the Head and record it in the cash book with appropriate signatures.
Sort, verify, and reconcile cash amounts before handing them over to the Head.
Deliver cash to the Head promptly according to schedule.
Countersign tickets and summary sheets as required.

Required profile

Diploma (Level IV) in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in cash handling or banking operations.
Interpersonal and cross‑cultural communication skills.
Risk awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements.
