Distribution Clerk (Customer Service)

About the role

The Distribution Clerk supports the Church’s mission by making gospel teaching resources, magazines, and subscriptions easily accessible to customers. Working under moderate supervision, the role involves handling telephone and face‑to‑face interactions while learning and using specific subscription software.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with customers via telephone and in person to answer questions about curriculum materials, magazines, and subscriptions.
• Enter, verify, and correct customer orders and subscription details using various computer software packages.
• Learn and operate the subscription software package, following all operating policies and procedures.
• Identify and correct errors in order entry with guidance.
• Develop speed and accuracy in processing orders and handling diverse customer personalities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in any relevant field, or a diploma with at least two years of related experience.
• Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic computer equipment and willingness to learn new software.
