Senior Business Development Advisor (Gambella)

About the role

Inkomoko is seeking a Senior Business Development Advisor to lead and strengthen its business development activities in the Gambella region and associated refugee camps. The role focuses on coaching staff, achieving client recruitment targets, and building strategic partnerships to support entrepreneurs.

Key responsibilities

• Coach, mentor, and advise Business Associates (BAs) and Business Development Advisors (BDAs) to improve their business development capabilities.
• Ensure client recruitment targets are met across assigned locations.
• Review and support BDAs/BAs work to guarantee high‑quality service delivery.
• Coordinate BDAs and BAs activities with other departments for optimal client outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and leadership to set annual departmental goals.
• Develop the capacity of the BDAs and BAs team to meet Inkomoko Ethiopia’s service objectives, market linkages, advocacy, and access‑to‑finance goals.
• Represent Inkomoko at stakeholder meetings and maintain relationships with partners and business community leaders in Gambella and refugee camps.
• Stay informed on business and industry trends relevant to the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, preferably in emerging markets or humanitarian contexts.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
