About the role

Liugong Machinery East Africa is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive the market penetration of its emerging product portfolio, primarily material handling equipment, across Ethiopia. You will be responsible for expanding market share, building a robust customer base, and positioning LiuGong as the preferred supplier in key sectors.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities in construction, mining, oil & gas, ports, and infrastructure.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, fostering long‑term relationships with contractors, project owners, developers, and government agencies.
  • Promote emerging product lines, conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and customer assessments.
  • Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and commercial solutions to meet client needs.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets for the emerging products portfolio.
  • Monitor competitor activity, track upcoming projects, and identify early opportunities.
  • Coordinate with technical, after‑sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and post‑sale satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and customer interactions in the CRM system.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in industrial or construction equipment.
  • Proven ability to grow market share, penetrate new customer segments, and manage key accounts.
  • Established network within Ethiopian construction, mining, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.

Required skills

  • Experience selling material handling equipment (strong advantage).
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems to track sales activities.
