Sales & Partnerships Executive – FX & Commodities

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Partnerships Executive to accelerate revenue growth and build strategic alliances in the foreign‑exchange and commodities markets for Mamoru in Ethiopia. The role combines new‑client acquisition, partnership development and cross‑selling of FX, currency‑swap, oil, metal and other commodity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and onboard new corporate, broker, payment‑service and financial‑institution clients.
• Promote and sell spot FX, currency swaps, oil, metals and other commodity trading products.
• Generate leads through outbound outreach, networking, referrals and market research.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding and post‑sale relationship management.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue and volume targets.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, brokers, liquidity providers and institutional clients.
• Negotiate commercial terms, partnership agreements and pricing structures.
• Collaborate with trading, operations, compliance and risk teams to deliver seamless client solutions.
• Provide market insights, gather client feedback and support product development.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts and client records in CRM while ensuring KYC/AML compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in FX sales, financial‑markets sales or partnership development, preferably with commodities or CFD trading.
• Strong understanding of FX products, currency swaps, spot trading and commodity markets (oil, metals).
• Demonstrated ability to close high‑value deals and manage key client relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
