Event Manager – Corporate & Social Events

About the role

The Event Manager will lead the planning, coordination and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate conferences and exhibitions to social gatherings and brand activations. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure each project is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end planning and execution of conferences, exhibitions, corporate events, product launches, retreats, activations and social events.
• Develop detailed work plans, timelines and operational schedules for each project.
• Oversee logistics, venue coordination, transportation, catering and on‑site execution.
• Source, negotiate and manage suppliers, ensuring quality, pricing and delivery standards.
• Manage event coordinators, freelancers and temporary staff, allocating responsibilities and conducting briefings.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for clients, translating expectations into actionable plans.
• Support budget planning, monitor spending and control operational costs.
• Identify operational risks, create contingency plans and ensure health, safety and quality compliance.
