About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead the sales and marketing function for a leading medical device company operating in Ethiopia. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence and building high‑performing teams.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and overall growth by managing the sales and marketing team.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan, including forecasts, budgets and marketing initiatives.
- Increase market share by expanding distribution channels and acquiring new customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging market trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Required profile
- Currently residing in Ethiopia.
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical or medical‑device sectors.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong business acumen and deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics.
