About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Sales to lead the sales and marketing function for a leading medical device company operating in Ethiopia. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence and building high‑performing teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and overall growth by managing the sales and marketing team.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan, including forecasts, budgets and marketing initiatives.
  • Increase market share by expanding distribution channels and acquiring new customers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and emerging market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners.

Required profile

  • Currently residing in Ethiopia.
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical or medical‑device sectors.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics.
